David Worgan is the Founder and Managing Director of Label Planet Ltd with 40 years of executive experience in the European labelling industry. David Worgan incorporated Label Planet Ltd in the UK in 2003 as one of the first expert online suppliers of labels using his advanced industry and label application knowledge to provide the world class support that customers need.
For 8 years he worked for the internationally recognised Zebra Technologies Corporation (Head Office: Chicago, USA). For 3 of these years, he was European Sales and Marketing Manager for Label Products (Supplies); he was also European Channel Manager (2 years), and UK and Scandinavian Account Manager (3 years).
Prior to Zebra Technologies he worked at Markem Systems for over 8 years. He became their European Barcode Label Expert, lecturing to other European Markem associate companies and at sales and educational events at the very inception of barcode technology in retail and industry in 1989. He undertook thousands of meetings with UK manufacturing companies to understand and help them with their labelling applications and problems.
