Do you supply waterproof labels / weatherproof labels?
Answer:
Yes! We have a range of polyester, polyolefin, polyethylene, and polypropylene labels, which are all durable waterproof labels that are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Our MWP, MWPE, MWPO, and MWPP labels also have a Marine Standard Adhesive, which has been designed specifically for outdoor use. If you need a more cost effective option or don’t need a fully waterproof solution, you could try our “Splashproof” options (GW and SG), which are paper labels with a gloss or semi-gloss coating that offers limited protection against water damage, so they can be wiped clean and dry if they are lightly splashed.
Please note that many our waterproof/weatherproof/splashproof label ranges are designed for use with laser printers only; laser printers use a dry printing process that produces waterproof print, while inkjet printers tend to use water-based inks that will run or smudge if they get wet (or are simply handled a lot). Only our MWPP material is designed to produce waterproof labels using an inkjet printer.
