Adhesive (Hot Melt) - What is a hot melt adhesive?
Definition of HOT MELT ADHESIVE:
Adhesives that are made using a thermoplastic polymer as the base material (although thermosetting polymers may also be used); these adhesives are melted so that they can be coated in liquid form before hardening back into a solid form as they cool. The most common example of a hot melt adhesive is hot glue, which is applied using a hot glue gun – where a solid cylindrical stick of hot glue is melted by the glue gun and then squeezed out of the barrel onto a substrate where it solidifies as it cools.
