Anchorage - What is anchorage?
Definition of ANCHORAGE:
A term used to refer to the degree of adhesion between a pressure sensitive adhesive and a face material or an anchor coat. If a label has poor anchorage then the face material may separate easily from the pressure sensitive adhesive. Anchorage may also be used to refer to the adhesion between an ink or toner and the substrate upon which it is printed.
