Application Temperature - What does application temperature mean?

Definition of APPLICATION TEMPERATURE:

The temperature at the time a label is applied to a substrate; usually this refers to the temperature of the substrate and the label material during application as the temperature of the substrate and the label is not necessarily the same as the temperature of the surrounding environment. All label products will have a recommended minimum application temperature to indicate the lowest temperature at which the label's adhesive will function and allow the application of the label to the substrate.
