Band Labels - What are band labels?
Definition of BAND LABEL:
Labels that wrap fully around the object to which they are applied. Band labels extend around the whole of an object and usually have an overlap, meaning that one end of the label will be stuck over the other end. They are usually long and thin, and are commonly used as product labels on products or product packaging; in particular, they are highly popular for use on containers such as bottles and jars.
Band labels may be chosen in order to produce packaging that only has one single label going all the way around the item (which can be quite cost effective and creates an uncluttered appearance), or they may be supported with other labels, usually on the lid or base of the container.
