BgVV - What does BgVV mean?
Definition of BGVV:
Health and safety recommendations set by the German Institute for Consumer Health Protection and Veterinary Medicine that define which substances and materials are suitable for use in food packaging applications. Materials that are BgVV compliant have been proven to meet the pre-determined standards of this organisation.
We have specification sheets for all of our products, which indicate (where applicable) that our materials are compliant with BgVV recommendations. Our high tack labels, freezer labels, coloured labels, and recycled labels all have adhesives that comply with the BgVV XIV standard, which means that they are suitable for indirect food contact and short term contact with dry and moist foods.
