Coverage - What is coverage?

Definition of COVERAGE:

The surface area that can be covered by a specific quantity of a substance.

In labelling, this can refer to inks, coating materials, and adhesives. A substance with poor coverage may leave gaps (known as skips), although if too much of a substance with high coverage is applied to one area, the substance may not dry or adhere correctly to a substrate.
