Feathering - What is feathering?
Definition of FEATHERING:
In printing, feathering is a defect in the print characterised by uneven, ragged edges. Feathering is most commonly caused by ink spreading across a material instead of being absorbed in place. Other causes include a build up of dust or ink in a printer, a build up of static electricity, low ink viscosity, or poor transfer of ink.
