Holographic stickers can be used to refer to labels that are made with a material that has a holographic finish OR to labels that have been printed with a hologram or holographic pattern. Holographic labels are most commonly used as decorative stickers or as security labels. Holographic materials and designs have an eye-catching appearance that instantly draws attention to the label itself or to the item it has been used to label. This makes them popular for use as marketing and promotional labels, product labels, labels for events and celebrations (such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, parties, and Christmas), and decorative stickers in themselves. Holograms (and holographic patterns) are also used to make security labels as they are difficult to replicate. They can be used as warranty labels or as product and document seals.
