Definition of LIFT TAB:
One edge of a face material is deliberately not coated in adhesive to facilitate the quick and easy removal of a label from its backing sheet. Lift tabs are often included on labels that are intended for use in warehouses during stock taking or order picking; a label can be applied quickly to a product or package to indicate its status or to add tracking/delivery information, without forcing an individual to slow down to fiddle with a sheet of labels.
