Material - What does material mean?

Definition of MATERIAL:

The matter from which something is or can be made. In labelling, this usually refers to the unconverted stock that is used to make labels. For example, the materials used to make our label products include paper, polyester, polyethylene, polyolefin, vinyl, and acrylic.
