Monochrome (mono) - What is monochrome?
Definition of MONOCHROME:
A term that describes an image that is made up of only one colour, although it may include varying tones of that single colour. Monochrome is most commonly used to describe black and white images, but the term applies to any image that only uses one colour. A monochrome printer will only use one colour ink or toner to produce different shades of that colour and create a monochrome image; generally speaking, most monochrome printers will have a black cartridge as the single colour.
