Name Labels - What are name labels?
Definition of NAME LABEL:
Labels that are applied to items to indicate their owner and other identifying information OR labels that are worn by people as a form of identification. Name labels may sometimes be referred to as name tags. Name labels come in a variety of forms, including badges and cards, self adhesive labels, plates or plaques, sew-in labels, iron-on labels, clip on tags, and tie-on tags or tickets. They can be written, etched, or printed, and are made of a variety of materials, including paper, fabrics, card, wood, metals, or plastics.
At Label Planet, we have our own brand of self adhesive name labels, known as Stikins ®. Our labels are designed to be applied to clothing and personal possessions and are printed with the owner's name (and contact information) so that items can be returned if lost. The most common application of our name labels is to children's school uniform and personal possessions, although they can be used in a variety of environments and situations including residential care home and nursing facilities or offices and factories.
