Security Labels - What are security labels?
Definition of SECURITY LABEL:
A general term used to describe a label that has been designed to help improve the security of the object to which it is applied. This could be by acting as a visual deterrent, tracking the location of the object, preventing counterfeiting, or providing visual proof that the label (and therefore the object) has been tampered with.
In labelling, the term security label is applied specifically to labels that provide evidence of tampering (tamper evident labels) - although they may perform other security functions as well.
At Label Planet, we supply a security labels product called SVP (silver void labels).
