Semi-Gloss - What does semi-gloss mean?
Definition of SEMI-GLOSS:
A type of finish. Semi-gloss is used to describe a surface or colour that falls between the dull, non-shiny finish of matt materials and the bright and shiny finish of gloss materials. A semi-gloss finish will diffuse light; the degree of shine is determined by the extent to which reflected light is spread out as it leaves the surface of a semi-gloss material.
In labelling, coatings, face materials, and inks with semi-gloss finishes can be used to create labels with a semi-gloss finish.
