Splashproof - What does splashproof mean?
Definition of SPLASHPROOF:
A loose term used to describe a property of materials that are able to survive minimal exposure to water. These labels are not fully waterproof, but they may be wiped clean and dry if they get splashed or slightly dirty.
We use this term to describe our two ranges of gloss laser labels (GW and SG); as these labels are made of paper they are not 100% waterproof, but their gloss and semi-gloss finishes are created using coatings that do provide some limited protection against water, which means the labels can be gently wiped clean if required.
