Sprocket Feed Labels - What are sprocket feed labels?
Definition of SPROCKET FEED LABELS:
These labels have evenly spaced holes (also known as feed slots or “starburst holes” if the holes have jagged edges) punched into the left and right margins of the sheet (usually in fan-fold form) or roll so that they can be printed on sprocket feed printers (also known as pin feed/tractor feed printers), such as dot matrix and line printers with paper-feed mechanisms. The holes allow the continuous web of labels to be guided through the printer by sprocket wheels or a toothed belt while maintaining the correct alignment throughout the printing process.
