Stability - What is stability?
Definition of STABILITY:
A property of materials and substances that allows them to maintain their original characteristics and properties throughout their intended use.
In labelling, it is important that the materials and substances used to make label products have a good level of stability, so that they maintain their properties throughout the manufacturing process, printing process, storage, and use. Materials used in labels are often chosen because they possess certain properties (durability, elasticity, flexibility, water resistance, heat resistance) and it is important that they keep these properties regardless of their environment or the stresses they may experience during any stage of use, particularly if the loss of a particular property would result in the failure of one part or even the entirety of the label itself.
