SVP - What does SVP stand for?
Definition of SVP:
The Label Planet code assigned to our range of silver polyester VOID labels. These labels are made of silver matt metallic polyester with a special "VOID" permanent adhesive, and are suitable for use with laser printers. SVP labels are one of our security products, which are designed to improve the security of labelled items by providing visual evidence that an attempt has been made to tamper with an item.
The "VOID" adhesive is a partial transfer adhesive, which means that when someone removes one of these labels, the adhesive layer splits in two in order to create the message "VOID" on both the label itself and on the (previously) labelled item as visual evidence that the label and the item have been tampered with.
These labels are particularly popular for use as product and product packaging seals or as warranty labels on high value appliances and electronic devices.
