Translucent Labels - What are translucent labels?
Definition of TRANSLUCENT LABEL:
Labels that are made of translucent materials. Translucent materials are semi transparent; they allow light to pass through them (transmit light) but scatter the light in the process. This means they have a frosted appearance when held up but create a "no label" appearance when applied to a white or coloured surface. Translucent labels are often used to add information to existing print materials, like packaging and envelopes. They do not draw attention away from the object they are applied to and allow existing printwork to show through the label. They can also be used for a range of crafting projects. It should be noted that the appearance of these labels can be affected by air bubbles or tiny particles of dust that become trapped during the application process.
At Label Planet, we have a range of translucent paper labels; these labels are made with a semi-transparent paper and a permanent adhesive. The adhesive is transparent and made of acrylic.
