Waterproof Labels - What are waterproof labels?
Definition of WATERPROOF LABEL:
Labels that are resistant to the penetration of water into any single layer of the construction. A fully waterproof label will have print, a face material, and an adhesive that are all waterproof; they will either be made of waterproof materials (such as toner, acrylic, polymers) or will have been treated or coated to improve their water resistance. Waterproof labels are chosen for applications that involve exposure to a variety of liquids and substances, the most common of which is water, and are commonly used outdoors or for indoor applications ranging from kitchen and bathroom products to equipment in swimming pools and spas.
At Label Planet, we have a range of waterproof labels; they all have waterproof face materials made of polyester, polyolefin, polyethylene, or polypropylene and waterproof adhesives made of acrylic, including four product ranges that use a special marine adhesive (MWP, MWPO, MWPE, and MWPP).
