We're getting more requests about labels that are suitable for summer - so here's what we recommend.
FREEZER LABELS
So this might be a bit of an obvious one, but we’ve had quite the demand for freezer labels in the past few weeks. So much so, we’re having to keep a very close eye on our stock levels!
These labels are paper labels with a special adhesive designed to withstand the process of being stored in a freezer. We recommend using them with laser printers – you can print them using an inkjet printer, but there may be problems with the print smudging when an item is removed from a freezer and condensation forms.
Suitable for: food and drink! These labels are great for labelling all kinds of delicious deserts and cooling drinks that we just can’t get enough of in the summer months.
COLOURED AND FLUORESCENT LABELS
Summer brings out the brightest of colours; in fashion, in marketing, in shops, and in schools. It’s easy to join in with the fun of summer by brightening up your labels with a cool pastel colour or, for the more daring, a bright fluorescent colour.
These paper labels are available in a choice of seven pastel colours and five fluorescent colours. All are suitable for laser printers and the pastel coloured labels can also be printed using inkjet printers.
Suitable for: adding colour! Whether you’re adding information to products, marketing materials, diaries and organisational charts, or just sprucing up your filing system, these labels are a great way to add a burst of colour in the summer months.
WATERPROOF LABELS
The warm weather means we get to spend time outdoors, which means you may need labels that can survive in outdoor conditions. Our range of waterproof laser labels are perfect for the great outdoors – whether you need labels in your garden, on sports and watersports equipment, or on the myriad of items that become essentials on family days out.
These labels are made of polyester, polyethylene, polyolefin, or polypropylene, which makes them much more durable and waterproof. They also come with a waterproof adhesive and four of our ranges (MWP, MWPE, MWPO, MWPP) come with a marine adhesive that meets the BS5609 standard. Among other things, this means these labels have survived being stored in seawater for three months!
Suitable for: labelling anything that needs to survive outside. If you’ve got an outdoor display, equipment that is used outside, or anything that needs to survive getting wet, these labels are the ideal choice.
