The list below includes all of the permanent labels available from Label Planet. All of these ranges are supplied on A4 sheets and have permanent adhesives. The table indicates the material, adhesive type, printer compatibility, and whether or not each range is waterproof. Permanent adhesives are designed to create and maintain strong adhesive bonds that will hold a label in place on a variety of materials and surface types. Our general purpose permanent adhesive will create a good adhesive bond with a wide range of materials and surfaces. However, we also supply stronger permanent adhesives, which are designed to work in more specific applications where standard adhesives struggle to create a successful bond OR where a label absolutely has to remain firmly in place, possibly for an extended period of time. This includes our high tack and marine adhesives, which are both designed to create super strong bonds with unusual materials and/or in more challenging environments. It also includes more specialised adhesives, such as our freezer adhesive, wash off adhesive, and opaque adhesives, which are designed to meet the requirements of particular environments or applications.
The strength of the bond between a label and an object depends not just on the type and amount of adhesive used but also on the type of material being labelled, the temperature, application pressure, and the length of time a label has been applied. Most permanent labels can be peeled off in the few minutes after application; as time passes, the adhesive cures, setting into a strong, permanent bond, and the permanent labels become permanently stuck.
