Removable Labels From Label Planet

For a label to be removable, it must be made with a removable adhesive. Removable adhesives are strong enough to hold a label in place but also light enough that a label can be removed without damaging the surface below.

This means that removable labels are used for short term or temporary applications. Once they are no longer needed, they can be easily removed from a item in one piece. This means they don't leave behind any adhesive residue or damaged the item in the process.

Removable adhesives come in a range of strengths. We supply a standard removable adhesive, which is suitable for most temporary applications. This adhesive is found on our white and coloured papers, as well as our two waterproof materials. We also supply a super removable adhesive and a wash off adhesive.

The super removable adhesive is designed specifically for labelling delicate materials, like paper and glass. It is commonly used to label glassware, paper products, gift items, and delicate items such as those being processed by an auction house.

The wash off adhesive is actually a permanent adhesive; however, unlike other permanent adhesives, it breaks down when exposed to warm, soapy water. It is most commonly used to label reusable containers, such as those used to store foodstuffs in kitchens. These containers can be safely and securely labelled before the labels are washed away and the container can be reused and relabelled. They are commonly used in both home and commercial ktichens.

How removable a label is depends on the type of adhesive, amount of adhesive, application and storage temperature, surface type being labelled, pressure applied during application, and duration of an application.

Please note that our removable labels are not repositionable or reusable; they can only be peeled off once and cannot be reapplied.
