This range is made of matt clear polyester with a permanent adhesive; supplied on A4 sheets, it is suitable for laser printers only.
Our MTP material has a non-shiny matt finish and is both long lasting and waterproof. It produces print that appears as though it has been printed onto the surface below, particularly when labelling matt surfaces. This creates high quality print for a professional finishing touch. It also provides a full waterproof finish, which is ideal for both indoor or outdoor applications. MTP can be used in most outdoor environments as well as in bathrooms and kitchens, where labelled items may be exposed to water and then wiped clean and dry as needed. It can also be used to create a protective waterproof cover over non-waterproof print, such as that created with inkjet inks.
MTP is a popular and efficient way to add information or designs onto existing items and surfaces. It doesn't cover up the surface you are labelling, which allows existing information or designs to show through. This is especially important if you are labelling branded items or materials that have been chosen for their decorative appearance. It also helps to avoid the problem of colour matching existing print, which can be difficult, costly, and time-consuming to do. Our matt finish is most popular for labelling matt surfaces, which allows new information or designs to blend in with existing print - but it can also be used to draw attention by providing a contrast to a gloss surface. Your printed information or designs can be created in a matching or contrasting style to existing print work to furher help it blend in or stand out.
This range is not frosted/translucent nor is it glass clear. When applied to a solid white or coloured surface, it will look almost completely clear but when applied to glass any air bubbles trapped during the application will create a slightly frosted look.

Common Uses

Addressing envelopes and parcels – additional information or designs appear to be printed on the envelope or package below, which produces a high quality, professional appearance. The clear material avoids colour matching problems and allows decorative materials or preprinted designs and information to show through. Our matt finish is most commonly used to match envelopes and parcels with the same finish but it can also be used to provide a contrast to shiny materials.
Product labelling – the matt material is the perfect choice when a professional and seamless finish is required for products or packaging that also have a matt finish. It is particularly useful for product boxes or bags that feature strong branding or company colours because it doesn't obscure the existing design below. It is also a great way to label matt clear materials, like plastic, because it doesn't distract from the object itself.
Seals for product packaging – our clear materials are a popular way to create seals for packaging. This is because they don't cover up existing print work or decorative materials used to make your packaging. Our polyester material has some flexibility, which means it is best suited to labelling flat or curved surfaces. If you need a seal that bends around a sharp edge or corner, we recommend choosing a larger size so there is more adhesive available to hold your seal in place.

The labels are exactly what I ordered and look great when stuck onto my products to give customers details of where they were made. The quality is fantastic and go through my colour laser with no problems at all. When I started looking for this type of label I looked in the country I now live in and found nothing. So I searched the internet and found Label Planet. Their vast range of labels was amazing. I looked in the Clear label section and found exactly what I wanted.
