Matt White Polyethylene Labels For Inkjet/Laser Printers

• This range is made of matt white polyethylene with a permanent marine adhesive; supplied on A4 sheets, it is suitable for inkjet and laser printers.
• Please note that MWPE is fully waterproof when printed with laser printers only. Inkjet inks are water-based and will run or smudge when wet. MWPE is also our thickest material so we recommend checking your printer's specifications to make sure it is suitable for this material or requesting a sample to test print first.
• MWPE might be our thickest material but it is also our softest and most flexible. This makes it suitable for labelling all surface types, whether they are flat or curved, even or uneven. Both the polyethylene material and adhesive conform to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion, which means they have been tested in salt water at mid-tide for a period of three months, and are suitable for use in outdoor and marine environments.
• Originally designed for labelling chemical drums, this range is perfect for long term applications or environments where other labelling products will struggle to survive. This includes both outdoor and indoor applications, including bathrooms, kitchens, and gardens, as well as tracking items that are to be shipped long distance. Our polyethylene is slightly off-white and the matt material provides a high quality, durable finish that looks best on surfaces with a similar matt finish.
• If MWPE is too thick, we recommend looking at our polyolefin (MWPO) and polyester (MWP) materials. MWPO is a similar colour but is slightly thinner and less flexible, while MWP is white in colour, thinner, and much less flexible.

• Long life tracking labels – this range was designed for securely labelling chemical drums with safety warnings and content information. MWPE is suitable for most long term applications, where information must remain with an item for a long time or for the lifetime of an item - even under challenging conditions. Add address and shipping information, tracking information, identifying information, or delivery and storage instructions onto items that are travelling long distances or being stored long term in wet or difficult environments. This information can be text, images, or barcodes and QR codes.
• Outdoor or marine conditions – the material and adhesive conform to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion, which means they will survive exposure to outdoor and/or marine conditions. Common uses include labelling chemicals, medical and laboratory supplies, products that are stored or use in wet conditions (e.g. kitchen, bathroom or gardening products), rental equipment, equipment at swimming pools / marinas / lakes and seaside locations, supplies and equipment for construction / maintenance / landscaping and gardening companies, and other instances where identifying information, instructions, or signs need to remain in place even under adverse conditions. The flexible material and strong adhesive are ideal for use on all kinds of surfaces and materials, even in marine conditions.
• Curved and uneven surfaces – the flexible polyethylene bends easily around curved surface and the strong adhesive ensures that each label remains in place - which is not always the case with less flexible materials like polyester. This range is perfect for labelling cylindrical objects, including bottles, jars, and other round containers.
• Retail labels – add product information, company details, prices, or special features and promotions onto products, particularly items that have unusually shaped packaging or an uneven surface. Also ideal for external shop displays or in garden centres, on containers that hold liquids such as bathroom or kitchen products, or on products that will be stored or used outside.

Find An Alternative: the marine adhesive is also available on our matt white polyester and matt white polyolefin materials; they are thinner but less flexible (especially the polyester), which makes them better suited for labelling flat surfaces.
