Matt White Polyolefin Labels For Inkjet/Laser Printers

• This range is made of matt white polyolefin with a permanent marine adhesive; supplied on A4 sheets, it is suitable for inkjet and laser printers.
• Please note that MWPO is fully waterproof when printed with laser printers only. Inkjet inks are water-based and will run or smudge when wet. MWPO is one of our thicker materials so we recommend checking your printer's specification or requesting a sample to test print first.
• MWPO is softer and more pliable than our polyester materials, which makes it perfect for labelling curved or uneven surfaces. Both the polyethylene material and adhesive conform to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion, which means they have been tested in salt water at mid-tide for a period of three months, and are suitable for use in outdoor and marine environments.
• This range is suitable for long term applications or more challenging environments (especially outdoors). They are a great way to label items that may get wet, including bathroom, kitchen, and garden products. The polyolefin creates high quality print on a clean, professional background.
• MWPO is usually chosen because it offers a compromise between our polyester (MWP) and polyethylene (MWPE) materials. MWP is thin, which makes it very easy to print, but it is not a flexible material. MWPE is thick, which makes it unsuitable for some printers, but it is a very soft and flexible material. MWPO sits between the two in terms of both its thickness and flexibility.

• Long life tracking labels – this range is suitable for most long term applications, where information must remain with an item long term or even for the lifetime of an item - even under challenging conditions. Add address and shipping information, tracking information, identifying information, or delivery and storage instructions onto items that are travelling long distances or being stored long term in wet or difficult environments. This information can be text, images, or barcodes and QR codes.
• Outdoor or marine conditions – MWPO conforms to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion, which means it can be exposed to outdoor and/or marine conditions. Common uses include labelling chemicals, medical and laboratory supplies, products that are stored or use in wet conditions (e.g. kitchen, bathroom or gardening products), rental equipment, equipment at swimming pools / marinas / lakes and seaside locations, supplies and equipment for construction / maintenance / landscaping and gardening companies, and other instances where identifying information, instructions, or signs need to remain in place even under adverse conditions. The pliable material and strong adhesive suit all kinds of surfaces and materials.
• Curved and uneven surfaces – polyolefin will bend around curved surface and the strong adhesive ensures that each label remains in place - which is not always the case with less flexible materials like polyester. This range is perfect for labelling cylindrical objects, including bottles, jars, and other round containers.
• Retail labels – add product information, company details, prices, or special features and promotions onto products, particularly items that have unusually shaped packaging or an uneven surface. Also ideal for external shop displays or in garden centres, on containers that hold liquids such as bathroom or kitchen products, or on products that will be stored or used outside.
